TINY HOUSE in the Woods: TOUR of a TINY CONTAINER HOME in ONTARIO, Canada

In today’s video, we’re taking you to a tiny house in the woods. That’s right, we are going in search of more unusual accommodations once more! For the past 7 years, we’ve been travelling around the world and bringing you along for the journey. Well, 2020 has turned out way different than we expected. After three and half months spent mostly indoors, we are slowly starting to travel again, albeit close to home. We’ve been going on mini road trips in search of tiny houses and unusual accommodations close to nature, and we have found some real gems.

Today, we’ll be showing you around this tiny home in the woods (🏡 🏡) set in Scarborough near the Toronto Zoo and Rouge National Urban Park. This custom-designed shipping container home has a circular window that looks off into the woods and on a clear night, you can even see the Big Dipper right from the bed. The tiny home is off-grid and has a foot pump sink, a special composting toilet, and freshwater provided in jugs. There’s a propane camping grill for cooking outdoors and a firepit for roasting marshmallows and making smores.

We really enjoyed our two-night stay in this tiny home. It was relaxing and secluded, and during the day we went hiking in the nearby park. It was the perfect city escape and we didn’t even have to go that far!

Hey guys! We’re Samuel and Audrey and for the past 7 years, we’ve been travelling around the world and bringing you along for the journey. Well, 2020 has turned out way different than we expected! After three and half months spent mostly indoors, we are slowly starting to travel again, albeit close to home. We’ve been going on mini road trips in search of tiny houses and unusual stays close to nature, and we have found some real gems including off-grid cabins, yurts, teepees, vintage Airstreams, train cabooses, treehouses, shipping container homes, log cabins, and other unusual tiny homes! We are new to tiny home living, but we’re excited to explore the options as we film this new travel series in Canada. 1. Hope you guys get to try the cabins at the Park next time! We booked one last year and it was a pleasant stay. We wanted a repeat but the camp grounds are closed for renos this year.

  2. We had no idea Rouge National Urban Park was so big and so close! We just went for a hike there this weekend and it was awesome – thanks for the tip!

  3. Interesting video, great job !!!

Thanks for the videos, Sam and Audrey!
Looking forward to more videos about our common home and native land!

  5. Hi Guys,
This absolutely looks nice and cozy deep in the beautiful green forest 🌳 I truly love this tiny house.
    Thanks for sharing.
    Enjoy your time

  6. I really like watching your videos, but please nix the beard, it's not becoming on you.😆 But love the videos, you take me to places I will never get to go too.

  7. You know your current way of exploring Canada ist real good for people like me who have never vistited your country. Nature retreats close to the citys, perfect way of getting to know different sides of Canada in a relatively short time. Super!!!

  8. Reminds me of my local trails. How did you manage to deal with mosquitoes there? Here in Northern Alberta there is a lot and I usually end up with a lot of bites after my walk 😖

  9. Thanks for sharing the video of the beautiful little house. And the park
Ohhh by the way. Those glasses are very pretty.
I didn't know about that park. After this covid 19. Going to try to visit.
    Muchas gracias.

  10. The clip on glasses are my favorite. I really love how that pair (without the clip ons), look on you, Audrey! The frame is beautiful, the clip ons add an interesting vintage touch.
The tiny house is amazing, the location seems to be so relaxing. Thanks for the video, guys! God bless! 💕

  11. Love all 6 pairs! Amazing how you were able to order glasses that fit your face shapes so well. Did you end up using the try-on feature on their site?

  12. When you pose in front of that window, it looks like you're standing in front of a giant front loading washing machine.

  13. Chicos holii. También disfruto sus videos en el canal que tienen en inglés. Yo solo hablo español, pero igual es que ustedes me encantan,. Besooos…

  14. Do bears live in there ? it's safe ?
If there's no bears, it would be great.!!😂😂😂
    Thank you for sharing.!!

  15. Samuel and Audrey, I hoped you can get sponsors from Airbnb-like companies from trying out various accommodation locations. Keep doing what you doing. I love your video genre. Very relatable and easy to watch! 🙂

  16. That would be idea of living
I really would love to do it one day 😊❤️
God bless 🙏 both of ye love from 🇮🇪💚 ☘️❤️

  17. What?! Sam was able to keep marshmallow from falling in his beard? A miracle! The view from that round window is AMAZING.
