Life has changed for everybody. The way we go about our day-to-day routine has been turned upside down, and after months of lockdown and strict social distancing measures, the world is slowly beginning to open its doors once more.

Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates is one of the city’s (and region’s) biggest shopping destinations, welcoming 40 million visitors every year, and it’s home to hundreds of shops, restaurants, a huge VOX Cinemas complex, and the city’s famous 400-metre long indoor ski slope: Ski Dubai.

As lockdown measures are slowly being relaxed, and the public is encouraged to consider returning to the outdoors, what does social distancing look like at one of the world’s busiest shopping malls?

  1. I think the whole virus thing has ruined lives. People have made such a big deal of something that’s not as bad as mainstream media say. Thousands of people lost their jobs for nothing. How about airlines??? They have all crashed and burn. What now??? Social distancing is such BS. Cleanliness was all we needed to enforce.
